Le Désir de peindre

Synopsis

Tonino, a twenty-year-old Italian painter, travels to Paris in search of his missing parents. On the banks of the Seine he meets Mario, an old second-hand bookseller mad about literature, who helps him sell his paintings. Soon a woman painter of a certain age enters his life. For Tonino she becomes a mother, a goddess, a lover.
